A dynamic Federal Government department is seeking multipleProcurement and Contracts Officerto provide contract management, procurement, recruitment, and coordination to the branch. The successfulProcurement and Contracts Officerwill be offered an initial 6 month contract with the view to extended.

The successfulProcurement and Contracts Officerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Manage recruitment activities for the Branch including non-ongoing and ongoing
  • Manage procurement activities in accordance with PGPA Act 2013 using SAP for contractors and consultants as per the Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
  • Lead, review and manage procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The successfulProcurement and Contracts Officerwill have experience in the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role and expertise and knowledge in procurement and recruitment.
  • Understanding of Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a face paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills
