The job:

Contract Evaluation

  • Review and assess current ICT contracts for performance, compliance, and strategic alignment
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for contract optimization or renegotiation
  • Evaluate supplier performance against KPIs and service level agreements

Commercial Advisory

  • Provide expert advice on procurement models, contract structures (Core & MICTA/ICTA), and commercial terms
  • Support the development of contract management plans and governance frameworks
  • Advise on beneficial and non-beneficial contract variations in line with Department Procurement Frameworks

Strategic Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between ICT and business units to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across Departments to align ICT services with business objectives
  • Promote innovation and best practices in ICT procurement and contract management

Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive evaluation report of existing ICT contracts
  • Strategic recommendations for future commercial management
  • Updated contract management framework aligned with Department standards
  • Procurement strategy and documentation for upcoming ICT engagements
  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation reports

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Law, ICT or Public Administration
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in ICT contract management, procurement or commercial advisory
  • Strong understanding of Government ICT Purchasing Frameworks, CPR's and PGPA Act requirements
  • Experience with Core & and MICTA/ICTA, contracting models
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver strategic outcomes
