Conquest have delivered numerous projects since our inception in 2003, constructing thousands of residential apartments, mixed-use and retail projects and we are growing at an exponential rate

Due to exponential growth and the acquisition of new projects, we are seeking experienced and capable Leading Hand's (LH's) to join and grow with the team

Expectations of the role:

  • Coordinating tasks and ensuring adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments
  • Assisting with co-ordination, management and scheduling of particular activities to ensure that equipment and resources are efficiently utilised to meet production outcomes
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors and internal team to achieve productive outcomes for the project
  • Providing reports on works completed
  • Resourcing for the works including programming the works.
  • Delivery of project quality and quality audits
  • Compliance with quality procedures

Minimum requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as a Foreman working on residential projects
  • Relevant professional qualifications; trade or tertiary
  • Driver's license and own transport
  • Strong written, computer, and client representation skills, as you will be required to operate in accordance with the highest professional standards in addition to supervisory activities
  • Strong work ethic, workmanship & quality focus with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and assist staff when required to achieve deadlines
  • Carpentry qualifications / Machinery tickets are not essential but would be advantageous
  • Solid understanding of OHS Procedures, and compliance with Industry OHS Procedures
