About the Opportunity

At EXEC Security, we don't just monitor — we lead, respond, and protect. As our SOC Team Leader, you'll be stepping into a pivotal leadership role within one of Australia's most respected Security Monitoring Centres. Located at our Burwood head office, this is more than just a job — it's your chance to build your leadership legacy within a company that genuinely invests in people.

You'll lead from the front, balancing hands-on operational duties with team coaching, workflow coordination, and client engagement. You'll be backed by a supportive leadership team and a culture that values maturity, calm under pressure, and continuous growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee day-to-day operations during your shift as both a hands-on Operator and team leader
  • Lead and support a team of SOC Operators, mentoring them to deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Coordinate real-time alarm, CCTV and duress responses through the Patriot Monitoring platform
  • Manage shift handovers, event escalations, and operator workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Act as a first point of contact for technical queries and minor customer issues, escalating where needed
  • Support training, SOP development, and quality assurance across the team
  • Foster a positive and engaged culture, ensuring everyone on shift feels supported and heard

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a Monitoring Centre / SOC environment
  • Calm, mature approach with the confidence to lead during high-pressure scenarios
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication and multitasking skills
  • Experience with platforms such as Patriot, TrackTik, and Guardhouse (or similar)
  • Passion for coaching others and maintaining high standards of service
  • Willingness to work full-time across rotating shifts (nights, weekends, and public holidays included)
