Trade & Yard Operations Supervisor – Timber & Hardware

We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced trade/yard operator to join our busy Muswellbrook team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated retail leader with strong trade product knowledge and a passion for customer service.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You'll run daily operations within our trade yard, lead and actively support in deliveries, build and maintain client relations with trades and support our yard team to ensure smooth operations and sales processes.

  • Salary negotiable based on experience
  • Weekend work required (3-4 days per month)

What You'll Bring

  • Current driver's licence is essential, truck licence advantageous
  • Strong product knowledge across timber and hardware categories
  • Experience in inventory control and trade customer service
  • Forklift licence is highly advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a timber & hardware retail role
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members
  • Strong Customer focus and a drive for sales
  • Strong communication skills including face-to-face, phone and email
