2x positions working up to 38 hours per week.

The company:

We are a locally owned business providing fencing, general gardening and lawn maintenance services throughout Muswellbrook and surrounding areas.

About the role:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lawn & garden maintenance: mowing, whipper snipping, weeding & hedging
  • Fencing
  • Weed control / Spraying
  • General yard maintenance
  • Slashing
  • Operation of plant and equipment
For this role, you will:
  • Have demonstrated experience with Gardening and grounds maintenance (essential)
  • Have experience Fencing
  • Have experience operating a Tractor, Bobcat and excavator with attachments (Preferred)
  • Have experience operating a chainsaw
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and follow all WHS policies & procedures.
  • Be a self-motivated and reliable individual with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Take pride in your work and complete all tasks to a satisfactory level, within set time frames.
  • Be willing to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
Criteria:

Essential

  • Reliable
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Safework NSW General Construction Induction card
  • Current Order 43 medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Desirable/willing to obtain

  • Certificate in chainsaw operations
  • Current First aid
  • Current ChemCert AQF3
  • Current Working with Children
  • Statement of attainment / verification of Competency - Bobcat/ Excavator
  • Certificate 3 in Horticulture or Certificate in Landscape Construction are desirable.
