An exciting opportunity for Application Support Team Lead to join BPC on fixed term basis.

The Application Support Team supports the desktop environment and applications in use at BPC. This group provides support for complex issues escalated from the Service Desk team and manages and supports IT functionality used to deploy and support this desktop environment. The Application Support Team Lead provides leadership and support for this team, fostering growth and change within the team.

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated experienced in Desktop and Application Support, including Windows, Entra, Office 365 and other desktop Applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Desktop deployment technologies, including Microsoft Intune.
  • Proven track record of supporting IT applications and Infrastructure within a complex ICT environment.
  • Completion of a MCSE or MCSA certification, combined with ICT Tertiary qualification or equivalent working experience.

About the BPC

The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.

Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
