Green Light Australia are partnering with a leading company to engage a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide procurement support and strong project management to help clients to address critical business initiatives and projects.
  • Support stakeholders in defining requirements (e.g. service levels, scope of work, volume forecasts).
  • Analyse current spend in detail and define a granular baseline that will allow accurate savings calculation.
  • Whole project execution and meeting the timelines, quality and deliverables
  • Perform supplier research and identification, review accuracy of the scope to tender with
  • stakeholder, prepare RFP, engage with tenderers.
  • Analyse proposal (commercial), liaise with end user(s) to obtain technical and risk evaluations, perform bid analysis and savings identification and coordinate award decision with stakeholder(s).
  • Negotiate with shortlisted vendors.
  • Draft contract, support implementation tasks when required.
  • Create necessary business cases or approval documents to seek endorsement and approval from clients.
  • Communicate frequently and professionally with customer stakeholders regarding the status of the procurement projects conducted.
  • Continuously demonstrate value-add and customer service while working with client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in similar roles as Procurement sourcing specialist or Procurement positions for large complex environments.

  • Experience working within the mining industry or energy sector.

  • Strong experience working on procurement projects within technical, Industrial or construction
  • Strong procurement knowledge and contract drafting experience.
  • Experience in Procurement/ sourcing of construction, engineering, CAPEX, maintenance

services, technical/ industrial services spend categories
- Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
