Due to internal secondments, there is now an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join the team and partner with leaders on procurement best-practice

Your next opportunity

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager and working as part of a broader team across end-to-end procurement, this role will be responsible for:

  • Providing procurement advice and partnering with senior leaders across construction, maintenance and operations to preempt needs;
  • Market analysis, sourcing and tender management for suitable providers across a range of goods and services;
  • Managing complex contract generation and approval in line with legislation;
  • The identification and assessment of risks associated with procurement activities and providing recommendations; and
  • Actively participating in the development, review and maintenance of procurement work processes and process improvements.

You will be agile and flexible in nature with a strong customer service mindset. With an inquisitive mind and creative and innovative approach, you will use your out of the box thinking to find solutions.  To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience managing end to end procurement and tendering processes;
  • Previous exposure working within construction, heavy industry, maintenance, operations or the infrastructure sector;
  • A strong communication style and the ability to build rapport quickly across internal and external stakeholders; and
  • A keen eye for process improvement and motivation to contribute to wider business goals.
