About the role

Join the world-renowned Nick's Seafood Restaurant as a Chef, specialising in sauce/pans section.

As a casual Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers as part of a passionate and talented culinary team.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare high-quality, innovative dishes following established recipes and procedures
  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking is carried out to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
  • Assist with menu development and provide input on new dish ideas
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver meals in a timely manner
  • Adhere to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Formal culinary training or equivalent experience as a Chef in a similar Hospitality & Tourism environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain
