About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimating Co-Ordinator to join our team at SME Powered Services' in Port Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing estimating services to support our estimating team & wider electrical contracting business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate the end-to-end estimating and tendering process alongside the Project Estimators.
  2. Prepare and format tender documentation, including submissions, presentations etc.
  3. Liaise with suppliers to obtain project quotes, including review for cost & technical suitability.
  4. Maintain estimating databases, and software improvements.
  5. Assist in preparing cost breakdowns, comparison summaries, and scope reviews.
  6. Document control for tender information including drawings, registers and the like.

What we're looking for

  1. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  4. Team-oriented attitude with a proactive and flexible approach to tasks.
  5. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator or Estimating Co-Ordinator
  6. Proficient in the use of estimating software and MS Office suite
  7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  8. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  9. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
