About the Role

We're seeking a Service Advisor to join our dynamic Fleet team at the Linfox Service Centre in Perth. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Diesel Mechanic who's ready to take the next step—moving off the tools and into a more strategic, management-focused role.

Whether you're already experienced in service coordination or looking to transition from hands-on mechanical work into a leadership pathway, this role offers the chance to broaden your impact and grow your career within a nationally recognised logistics leader.

Reporting to the State Workshop Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, reliably, and in line with Linfox's high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating fleet maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop
  • Prioritising work based on safety, operational requirements, and urgency
  • Raising purchase orders for external servicing and repairs
  • Building strong relationships with operational teams and service partners
  • Providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with documentation and procedures

We're looking for someone with a solid background in heavy vehicle or fleet maintenance who's ready to step up and take on more responsibility. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering outstanding service and operational excellence.

You'll bring:

  • A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential)
  • Experience with prime movers, trailers, and LNG equipment (advantageous)
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word); SAP experience highly regarded
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • The ability to interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
