Robertson Saxton Osborne Lawyers is a boutique law firm providing legal advice and representation across matters relating to Conveyancing and Property Law, Business and Commercial Law, General Litigation, Employment Law, Family Law, Criminal Law and Wills and Estates.

We are seeking a full-time receptionist to join our team. The successful receptionist will play a key role in our practice, supporting partners and solicitors and being the face of the firm to clients. The position is not suitable for law students or graduates.

The position will be at our North Sydney office and we are seeking someone who can be flexible and self-motivated. Working remotely is not an option.

Salary depending on experience. Regular salary reviews will be offered.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Answer all telephone calls.
  • Record detailed information and file notes.
  • Greet clients and visitors on arrival.
  • Manage files, including opening and closing files.
  • Prepare cost agreements.
  • Manage diaries and emails for partners and solicitors.
  • Perform general administrative & office maintenance duties.
  • Work 37.5 hours per week 8.45am – 5.15pm.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of one year of legal receptionist experience is preferred and on-the-job training will be offered.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A positive, pro-active and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word is essential.
  • Experience with Actionstep and Netdocuments would be advantageous but not essential.
