We are looking for a Site Manager to join our Field Department, which at E80 Group is responsible for managing all logistics system installation, implementation, and commissioning activities at our customers' plants.
The Site Manager will be accountable for ensuring that timelines, costs, and contractual quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule all installation, implementation, and commissioning activities on customer sites through to final testing.
- Effectively coordinate and supervise the team assigned to the project.
- Ensure cost control and compliance with contractual specifications, quality standards, and the allocated budget.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication between the customer and the E80 Group.
- Manage project changes in collaboration with the Project Manager and the customer.
- Handle non-conformity processes in coordination with technical and supply chain teams.
- Ensure systems are formally accepted by the customer and that each project phase is approved following successful testing, in compliance with contractual timelines and procedures.
- In collaboration with the company's HSE officer, ensure full compliance with site safety regulations.
Requirements
- An Engineering degree or technical diploma, supported by at least 2 years of proven experience in this or a comparable role within the automation industry.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, resource planning tools, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong team leadership and organizational skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work in shifts.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Australia and internationally, for approximately 70% of working time.
- Keen interest in industrial automation and complex systems management.
Other Requirements
- Desire to make a difference and daily represent E80 Group in front of the customer.
- English (advanced or native level) with excellent communication skills.
- Permanent rights to work in Australia, with no restrictions.
- Valid driver's license and car owner.
