AVIDA is Australia's largest motorhome manufacturer. We have been manufacturing quality Recreational Vehicles for 60 years. Our manufacturing facility is located in Western Sydney. We have a dealer sales network throughout Australia and New Zealand

Due to our business growth, we are seeking to appoint some enthusiastic Production Managers to our team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting time in our business as we continue grow while improving our LEAN practices and work towards World Class Manufacturing.

Success in this role relies heavily on interpersonal and influencing skills. You will have an innate ability to foster a culture of employee engagement through managing your team in a positive and empathetic manner while driving Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards in performance.

The successful candidates must be prepared to pivot their managerial style to deliver successful, sustainable World Class Production outcomes.

Through the exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills you possess, you will identify Improvement opportunities and using lean tools to continuously improve your teams performance.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve.
  • You will be familiar with Lean as a continuous improvement vehicle and follow the principles of this in ensuring the Production teams have all the required standards, documents and information to do a fantastic and efficient job.
  • Extensive application of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is required.

Professional attributes

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in any role that ticks the "Key attributes"
  • Manufacturing experience in any production environment is required.

  • Even more so your amazing ability to problem solve while all the time conveying a positive can do attitude.
  • Good commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
  • Tertiary qualification desirable or a proven track record in a very people-oriented senior leadership role.
