About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Project Support person to join our thriving team at SHP Construction & Civil. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in construction activities at our sites in Townsville, Queensland. As a highly skilled Project Support person, you will ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

  • Support construction activities, work crews and subcontractors on site
  • Liaise with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
  • General administration and office works
  • HOTO collection and Submissions
  • Assisting Tendering

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the office/construction industry
  • Worked in a construction environment previously (not critical)
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulation
