The Opportunity?
An exciting opportunity exists for a Lawyer with 2+ years post-admission experience to join our growing Intellectual Property & Commercial team. You'll work alongside a highly regarded Principal, advising a diverse portfolio of local and national clients across all aspects of intellectual property including protection, enforcement, commercialisation and portfolio management.
In this role, you'll:
- Manage Australian and international trade mark applications, oppositions and renewals.
- Provide strategic advice on brand protection, IP commercialisation, and risk management.
- Work closely with clients ranging from start-ups and family businesses to household names and multinationals.
- Be supported to further develop your technical and commercial skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, thrives in a fast-paced commercial setting, and wants genuine career progression within a firm that values both professional excellence and personal wellbeing.
What Are We Looking For?
- Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW with a minimum of 2 years' PQE, ideally within intellectual property or commercial law.
- Strong experience in trade mark applications, prosecution and portfolio management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a practical and client-centred approach.
- A proactive mindset, curiosity to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
