We have an opportunity for an experienced personal injury lawyer to join our Parramatta office.

Working alongside a Partner you will be responsible for managing a mixed personal injury practice that includes NSW statutory workers compensation, Work Injury Damages, CTP, Public Liability and Occupiers Liability. This role would suit someone who has established themselves in personal injury and now wants to take that next step in progressing their career in a national plaintiff law firm.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A valid NSW Practising Certificate (essential)
  • Have at least 3 + years PQE of practising in plaintiff personal injury law;
  • Pre-admission experience in personal injury law will be partially counted towards the PQE requirement on a case-by-case basis;
  • Experience managing statutory workers compensation practice is essential for this role;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment;
  • Have a passion for mentoring and supporting young junior lawyers and paralegals;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail;
  • Ability to be able to listen to and empathise with clients and their situations;
  • A commitment to achieving the best result for your clients and to be able to resolve issues and/or problems expeditiously whilst securing a positive result.
