The Opportunity We're seeking a Principal / Team Leader – Commercial to lead and expand our commercial practice.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior practitioner who brings both technical excellence and a strong professional network.

What We're Looking For

  • Senior commercial lawyer with an established client and referrer following
  • Ideally an Accredited Specialist, though not essential
  • Well-known in the market with the energy and presence of a rainmaker
  • Mid-tier background preferred, bringing a pragmatic approach and client-first mindset
  • Desire for greater autonomy and the opportunity to build and lead a team
  • Proven record of cultivating work pipelines and referrer relationships

Desirable Expertise (any combination welcome)

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (mid–high-end transactions)
  • Private equity and capital raising
  • Technology and digital sector experience
  • Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA)
  • Competition, consumer, and market regulation (ACL)
  • Intellectual Property – front and/or back end
