ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The position purpose of the café & RESTAURANT Manager is to oversee the overall operations and management of the food and beverage operations. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that the restaurant operates efficiently, provides high-quality products and services, and meets the expectations of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· monitor daily operations of a cafe, restaurant including table service, bar operations, kitchen efficiency, and cleanliness

· Menu development in collaboration with Head Chef and align with café & restaurant concept to optimize profitability

· Perform related service duties as required throughout service periods

· Complete Manager daily administration duties including Manages and supervises staff, including hiring, training and performance evaluation

· Oversees the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure quality and customer satisfaction

· Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies as needed

· Manages budgets and financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting

· Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards

· Collaborates with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Skills/Experience Required:

· At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications

· preferred AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
