Join our friendly kitchen team at Milestone Cafe & Kitchen

We're looking for an experienced Chef or Kitchen hand to join our busy and creative cafe in the heart of Southport Central.

About Us

Milestone Cafe & Kitchen is a locally loved brunch cafe known for our creative dishes like Seoul Croffle, Sunrise Benny, and Truffle Ricotta Toast.

We take pride in serving high-quality food with attention to detail — in a fun, respectful, and team-oriented environment.

Your Role

Depending on your experience, you will:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast & lunch menu items
  • Assist with food prep, plating, and cleaning
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Work efficiently as part of a small, close-knit team
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours

Position Type

  • Casual or Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Daytime hours only (no night shifts)
  • Weekend availability preferred

Requirements

  • Previous cafe or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Punctual, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Food safety knowledge an advantage

Pay Rate

  • Based on experience and in line with the Restaurant Industry Award
