We are seeking a friendly and professional individual who enjoys being the welcoming face of a school while supporting the smooth and efficient running of the front office. The right candidate will be highly organised, attentive to detail, and able to combine efficiency with a caring and approachable manner. If you thrive in a supportive school environment with respectful students and enjoy being part of a purposeful team, this could be the role for you.

About the Role

As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors, ensuring every interaction reflects the caring and professional values of our College. This is a role for someone who can balance multiple priorities with efficiency and a calm, welcoming presence, always keeping the wellbeing of our students and the smooth operation of the College at the center of their work.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence to learn new platforms.
  • A welcoming, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a positive can‑do attitude.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and thoughtfully.
  • A collaborative approach, with a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Experience in managing bookings and general office administration.
  • A commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of children and young people.

Required qualifications and clearances:

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
