Medical Receptionist Job Overview

ForHealth Medical Centres offers a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Morley practice as a full-time Medical Receptionist.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient service, manage the front desk reception, support healthcare professionals, and perform administrative duties. As a key team member, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Centre.

  • Greet patients warmly and welcome them into our Centre.
  • Collect and enter patient details into the database with attention to detail.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently when required.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly.
  • Provide administration support and perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, preferably with previous experience.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues through a professional and personable telephone manner.
  • Multitask and prioritise responsibilities to maintain a neat and efficient workspace.
  • Familiarity with Pracsoft/Medtech is advantageous.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
