We're looking for a high-energy Social Media Coordinator who can assist the marketing team by creating fresh, interesting and engaging photography and video content across our trades and services.

About the business

Topping Industries is a family-owned, small business providing services in the Security, Cleaning and Gardening fields of service.

We operate throughout QLD and VIC areas with the intention to further expand into NSW.

We also have our own brand of beauty products that we would like this position to cover the social media and engagement of our customers.

We strive on being up to date with the latest trends, edits and interest from the public eye to catch their attention and draw them into a company who takes the struggles away of finding helpful trades and services by only needing to liaise with one point of contact and getting a reliable and cost-effective service.

What will you be doing?

You'll be part of an exciting growth phase as we expand our categories. We're looking for someone who loves and appreciates the importance of a strong brand, and who can create engaging video content that 'stops the scroll'.

You'll be reporting to the Director and working closely to plan, produce and post content in a fast-paced, fun environment. If assisting on photoshoots, taking aesthetic pictures and videos, writing witty or knowledgeable captions, and connecting with people on a daily basis sounds like something you'd be interested in, this role is for you

In other words - we need you to help take our content to the next level

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Curating daily content across our Instagram stories; keeping within branding and social style guidelines.

· Establishing eye-catching content, utilising photography, videography, animation, and graphic design tools.

  • Working with our team to thoughtfully engage with followers in direct messages, comments and tagged posts across social channels in line with our tone of voice.
  • Working with the marketing team to foster and develop on-brand influencer and UGC content for our channels.

· Creating copy that tells a narrative through visual means - by engaging audiences at a large scale and fostering relationships between the customer and product range.

  • Researching new social media/marketing trends and making proactive recommendations across all platforms – including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Linked in, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok to ensure we are always on the front foot and where we can continue to improve.
  • Being involved in product, lifestyle and video photoshoots. Assisting with styling, posting behind-the-scenes content and the occasional modeling gig (if you're up for it)
  • Participate in regular marketing meetings to plan content in line with the marketing strategy led by the Marketing & Brand Manager and Brand Specialist across organic and paid social and CRM platforms.

Platforms you'll be using are:

  • Canva Pro
  • Video editing tools
  • Social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Basic skills in Adobe Creative suite desirable.

About you:

  • You have 1+ years of experience in content creation or photography and video editing skills.
  • Previous experience in a marketing/social media role or a university degree in media/marketing/communications is preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of all social platforms and how to use them such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • You love getting in front of the camera and feel comfortable doing so.
  • Basic design skills using at least Canva, Photoshop and CapCut.
  • Good communication skills and a passion for Brand.
  • High energy, creative, fun, and dedicated worker who focuses on efficiency and organisation to meet deadlines.

You'll be required to come out to follow our team and capture content on days of your choice and the other days of the week you can spend editing, posting and putting together content for all of our social media pages.
