Description

The opportunity:

We are looking for a Dental Assistants to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a Full Time capacity.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Prepare, maintain and manage the dental surgery and mobile dental surgery for patientsProviding high standard chair side assistance to all clinicians including private practice and Smile SquadProcessing and sterilisation of instruments in accordance with AS/NZS and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards infection control practicesProviding exceptional customer service to all patients Liaising with the reception and administrative teamReception duties may be required from time to time Flexibility to work across varying sites

Skills And Experiences

Our ideal candidate:

Possession of a certificate III and/or IV Dental Assistant Certificate of Accreditation, or equivalentExperience working in general dentistryAbility to demonstrate clinical competence, knowledge and understanding of required applications and proceduresDemonstrated understanding of infection control principles in a dental clinicProven ability to work effectively as part of a team
