Job DescriptionThe opportunity:
We are looking for a Dental Assistants to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a Part Time capacity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Prepare, maintain and manage the dental surgery and mobile dental surgery for patients
- Providing high standard chair side assistance to all clinicians including private practice and Smile Squad
- Processing and sterilisation of instruments in accordance with AS/NZS and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards infection control practices
- Providing exceptional customer service to all patients
- Liaising with the reception and administrative team
- Reception duties may be required from time to time
- Flexibility to work across varying sites
Our ideal candidate:
- Possession of a certificate III and/or IV Dental Assistant Certificate of Accreditation, or equivalent
- Experience working in general dentistry
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competence, knowledge and understanding of required applications and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles in a dental clinic
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
