Job Description

The opportunity:

We are looking for a Dental Assistants to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a Part Time capacity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Prepare, maintain and manage the dental surgery and mobile dental surgery for patients
  • Providing high standard chair side assistance to all clinicians including private practice and Smile Squad
  • Processing and sterilisation of instruments in accordance with AS/NZS and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards infection control practices
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all patients
  • Liaising with the reception and administrative team
  • Reception duties may be required from time to time
  • Flexibility to work across varying sites
Desired Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate:

  • Possession of a certificate III and/or IV Dental Assistant Certificate of Accreditation, or equivalent
  • Experience working in general dentistry
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical competence, knowledge and understanding of required applications and procedures
  • Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles in a dental clinic
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
