Outstanding opportunity to join a boutique tax and advisory accounting practice located on the Melbourne CBD fringe with an impressive clientele book as a business advisory and tax accountant.

This firm offers a dynamic team with excellent learning and development opportunities.

The firm was established in 2014 by two partners who had strong experience in the Big-4 and banking sector, predominately in tax.

The firm comprises a small team and is seeking a new member to help cope with the increasing workload and growing book of impressive corporate and private clients.

The role is ideal for someone who'd like to work 100% remote with total flexibility.

We would also consider a part-time role for the right candidate.

Free parking on-site at the office as well as gym membership offered to all our staff

The successful candidate will gain exposure to different industries, areas of taxation and regular and ongoing one-on-one partner and client contact.

The opportunity involves regular client meetings and communications, both in person and online.

Support is also offered for further study along with regular training and technical education.

Extensive one-on-one learning and development with a partner will be a strong part of the job.

Remuneration package will be dependent on the right candidate and their level of experience.

Extensive technical training is provided and the firm continually strives to be technically exceptional.

We are seeking a successful candidate with the following:-

  • Minimum of one to two years' of experience in an Australian public practice
  • Currently undertaking the CA/CPA course, or keen to start
  • Experience using Xero Practice Manager & Tax
  • Open to professional growth and learning opportunities
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Commerce/business/accounting bachelor degree from a recognised Australian university
  • Hold a relevant Australian working visa
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail
