Contracts Coordinator - Place HQ
We're on the hunt for a dedicated and hard-working legal support known internally as a Contracts Coordinatorto join our incredible HQ contracts team. Reporting to the Manager of Legal and Compliance, your position will be driven around compliance, so you play an exceptionally important role
The Contracts team have a direct impact on each and every agent and administrative support across the group ensuring that contracts and property settlements are managed with precision and speed. Working within not only a collaborative and forward-thinking team but also business, you will contribute to the future of the brand bringing your experience to date to the role.
The successful candidate will be placed within the HQ team in the heart of the beautiful James St, working Monday to Friday with a once-a-month Saturday shift paid at overtime.
Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
- Work with specific office locations as their key point of contact offering end to end contract administration services;
- Prioritise and process new listings (form 6) and contracts of sale with a focus on compliance;
- Conduct title searches and company searches to facilitate smooth transactions;
- Communicate with solicitors on behalf of Place and our Agents seeking support and guidance from the team leader where required;
- Provide best practice guidance to our Agents when required;
- Actively contribute to team projects and goals.
To exceed in this position you will need:
- Conveyancing experience/knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence overcoming challenges over the phone;
- Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft O365 and database operation;
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills;
- An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider collaborative team.
