Role Description

We're seeking a capable and detail-oriented Admin & Finance Support Officer to assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll support, and admin tasks. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance admin or senior bookkeeper looking for part-time work in a stable, supportive office-based environment.

This is not a remote position. The role is approximately 20 hours per week, spread across 3–4 days, ideally in 4-hour blocks. Flexibility around business needs is expected.

Duties Include:

Entering AP/AR transactions in MYOB/Xero

Bank reconciliations and basic GL reviews

Supporting payroll by entering employee timesheets

Assisting with preparation of BAS data for review

Maintaining up-to-date records and internal financial files

General administrative tasks (e.g., document filing, system updates)

What We're Looking For:

Strong working knowledge of MYOB and/or Xero (advanced level)

Sound grasp of bookkeeping and ATO compliance

Reliable, self-sufficient, and organised

Friendly, collaborative, and a genuine team player

Experience in small business environments preferred

Open to mature applicants – we value reliability and experience

Employment Details:

Part-time, office-based role (Castle Hill)

Approx. 20 hours/week

Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible across days)

Paid under the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2020 or equivalent
