With a workshop based in Wakerley and a fully equipped service vehicle for field work, we deliver both in-house and onsite maintenance and repairs to keep projects moving without delay.


The Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. You'll work from our Wakerley workshop and attend client sites with a company-provided service vehicle, carrying out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Servicing: Perform scheduled servicing (oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups) to optimise performance and reduce emissions.
  • Diagnostics: Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using tools.
  • Repairs: Dismantle, repair, and replace worn or defective components in engines, transmissions, steering, braking, and hydraulic systems.
  • Reassembly & Testing: Reassemble and test mechanical components to ensure safe, reliable performance.

What We're Looking For
  • Trade qualification: Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Automotive Diesel Engine Technology, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience working on heavy diesel engines and vehicles.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills with both mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently on-site and collaboratively in the workshop.
  • Current driver's license (HR license desirable).
  • A positive, safety-first attitude and strong communication skills.
