Essential Criteria:

  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate III in Road Transport
  • Experience with Road Transport / Truck & Trailer Repairs and servicing.
  • Troubleshooting and knowledge of computer based diagnostic programs.
  • Self-motivation, working independently and as part of the team.
  • HR driving license highly regarded.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical / drug & alcohol test if requested.
  • High awareness of safety in the workplace.
  • Effective communication skills, reliable & organized.
  • Own hand tools

General Duties:

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain and service diesel equipment including trucks, trailers, buses, and other small fixed & mobile equipment.
  • Complete and sign off paperwork as required.
  • Communicate any safety or maintenance issues to the Operation Manager.
  • Comply with all safety & current regulations / standards.

This is a Workshop based hands on roll which may include some onsite work.

Experience with fleet maintenance will be highly regarded.
