We are looking for a skilled Folder Operator / Guillotine Operator to join our busy print finishing team. This role is suited to someone with 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating commercial folding machines, specifically MBO or Stahl folders and or Polar Guillotine's.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating MBO and Stahl folding machines and Polar Guillotines to complete a variety of Guillotining & folding jobs, including signature folding for bookbinding and general finishing work.
  • Reading and following detailed job tickets and specifications.
  • Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Carrying out minor maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
  • Working efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are located in West Heidelberg, Victoria and the hours are 6am to 2pm - Mon to Fri with plenty of overtime available.

What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years experience on MBO or Stahl folders and or Polar Guillotine.
  • Applicants must have experience with either MBO or Stahl folders or and with Polar Guillotine experience.
  • Valid Australian work visa or appropriate work rights are required for this position.
  • Solid understanding of folding processes and bookbinding requirements.
  • Solid understanding of Guillotining requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on high-quality results.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
