Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and service delivery? Queensland Health is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead one of our commercial laundries at Chermside, part of the Linen Services network producing over 440 tonnes weekly — with TPCH Laundry contributing 165 tonnes.

About Linen Services

Linen Services is a critical part of Queensland Health's Supply Chain Branch, delivering high-quality linen products to Hospital and Health Services across the state. As Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused laundry operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations with autonomy across labour, suppliers, capital, and linen replacement
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Business Performance and Improvement Team
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure service level agreements are met
  • Champion safety, workforce planning, and staff development
  • Manage change, compliance, and union consultation with confidence
