Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III
- Support and engage in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
- Full-time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Salary from $64, $69,213.15 per annum plus 12% Superannuation.

About the Role
As the Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III, you will:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate educational programs and daily activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
- Support daily routines including meal times, supervision, and maintaining high standards of health and hygiene.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the centre's programs, policies, and Quality Improvement Plan.
What You'll Bring
- Certificate or willingness to obtain CHCPRT001 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- Strong understanding of child safety, wellbeing, and risk management practices.
- Mandatory reporting of children at risk of significant harm in accordance with Council's Child Protection Policy and Procedures.
- Ability to provide proof of identity and maintain a safe environment for all children.
- Commitment to attend and apply Child Protection training as directed.
Desirable
- Practical knowledge in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum in an Early Childhood setting.
- Awareness of the National Quality Framework, including Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Bi-lingual skills or additional language capabilities to support diverse communities.
Child Protection Requirements & Responsibilities
Must hold a Working with Children Check clearance (or have completed the application process for a new Check). The Working With Children Check is a prerequisite for employment in this position under Part 2, section 6 of the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012
