We are on the search for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our Human Resources department HR Administrator (Recruitment & Sponsorship).
This is a part time 12 month contract.
Key accountabilities:
- Manage recruitment and sponsorship admin, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met
- Partner with restaurant managers to understand hiring needs and timelines
- Post job ads, shortlist applicants, coordinate interviews and skills assessments
- Support onboarding, including contract generation and collection of mandatory documentation (e.g. RSA, food safety certificates)
- Ensure all new hires are issued correct employment documents and company materials
- Maintain employee data using Dayforce and CheckWorkRight platforms
- Ensure adherence to workplace laws: Fair Work Act, NES, and relevant awards
- Monitor and help manage recruitment and sponsorship budgets
- Coordinate visa application processes (482, 494, 186) and maintain sponsorship compliance and liaise with our registered migration agent
- Update organisational charts and complete Labour Market Testing reports
- Provide timely HR compliance reports and assist with ad hoc projects
What we are looking for:
- High School Certificate education essential
- Tertiary education preferred, at diploma or above level
- Minimum 6 years overall experience with at least 3 years in an administration capacity
- Experience in corporate, multi-unit restaurants, multi-brand fast paced complex environment preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills essential
- Advanced computer and systems skills essential
- Effective planning and time management skills
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail with a focus on quality
- Excellent personal hygiene and presentation
- High work ethic
