**Description**:
The Role
The Supporter Experience Coordinator supports the growth and stewardship of Guide Dogs Victoria’s Gifts in Wills program while also supporting philanthropic engagement and donor relations across the mid-major donor portfolio. This dual focus ensures we nurture long-term, values-aligned supporters and secure critical future income to sustain our life-changing services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with administrative and stewardship activities related to the Gifts in Wills program and respond to enquiries from prospective, bequestors and their legal representatives.
- Maintain and update bequestor records and communication history in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Coordinate and help deliver donor engagement activities such as Wills & Bequests morning teas, campus tours, and thank-you communications.
- Assist the Philanthropy Manager and team with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of mid-level and major donors.
Contribute to donor research and briefing documents to support relationship development.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations or related administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a high degree of empathy and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
- Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as end-of-life planning.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
