About the Role

Lantrak is seeking a reliable and versatile Light Vehicle & Auxiliary Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of light vehicles and essential auxiliary equipment, including generators, light towers, pumps, and more. You'll ensure everything remains safe, operational, and ready to support our fleet and site needs.

What You'll Do

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks and routine servicing.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across a diverse range of equipment.
  • Maintain safety and environmental compliance in all tasks.
  • Keep accurate and complete service documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritise workload efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support as needed.

What You'll Need

  • At least 3 years of post-trade experience as a qualified mechanic in Australia.
  • Relevant Diploma or Certificate III in Automotive or Heavy Systems.
  • Expertise across light vehicles plus auxiliary machinery like generators, pumps, and lighting towers.
  • MR Driver's License and ability to drive service vehicles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong safety focus
  • Good communication skills and proficiency with basic computer tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
