About the role

Join the dynamic team at TerraDrill Pty Ltd as a Drillers Assistant. In this full-time role based in Camellia, NSW, you will be an integral part of our drilling operations, providing essential support to our experienced drilling crew. Your role will involve assisting with the operation and maintenance of specialised drilling equipment, ensuring efficient and safe project delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the lead driller in the operation of drilling rigs and related equipment
  • Monitoring the drilling process and making adjustments as needed
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and well-maintained
  • Following all health, safety and environmental protocols
  • Supporting the drilling team with other tasks as required
  • Working Outdoors in Metropolitan and Regional areas

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar construction or drilling assistant role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate heavy machinery
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Relevant construction or plant operation certificates or licenses (MR licence minimum)
