We are looking for an enthusiastic person to be our General Hand/Parts Packer. This role involves lifting and coordination and will vary from day to day.

Shadetex Australia in Minchinbury is a dynamic company with valuable awning and blind manufacturing experience.  We are growing and expanding rapidly and need people who are prepared to learn and grow with us as part of our dynamic team.  We pride ourselves on our attention to detail along with a high-quality end product for our valued customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and handling goods
  • Packing parts for our finished products
  • Greeting and assisting our customers
  • Assisting both assembly and fabrics in their varying roles to achieve our goals

These are the attributes will the successful applicant have:

  • Physical strength a must
  • An enthusiastic and positive personality
  • Punctuality is a must
  • Current full drivers' licence
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Read and understand work sheets and delivery dockets
  • A great eye for detail
  • Having a forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential
