VISION Constructions is a trusted local civil, structural & marine infrastructure contractor specialising in:

  • Restoration & maintenance of concrete structures
  • Road & bridge construction and maintenance
  • Facility and operational maintenance works
  • Pipework – above & below ground, fabrication, etc.
  • Civil and maritime infrastructure projects

We are looking for a highly motivated Supervisor to lead site crews across a wide range of construction and maintenance projects in the North Queensland region. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership position ideal for someone passionate about safety, quality and leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a crew of skilled tradespeople & labourers
  • Planning works, allocating resources & procuring plant/materials
  • Client interface across project & maintenance engagements
  • Monitoring workmanship & ensuring compliance with project specifications
  • Coordinating subcontractors & third-party suppliers
  • Driving productivity & maintaining project timeframes
  • Completing daily site reporting & project documentation

About You

  • Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisory role (civil and mechanical construction preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, plant & equipment
  • Confident communicator with clients, crews & stakeholders
  • Safety-focused, proactive and solutions-driven
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple work fronts
  • experience in word and excel
  • able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Trade background is preferable

Qualifications

  • Relevant trade and/or civil construction experience
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR advantageous)
  • Construction White Card and other relevant tickets
