Zarraffa's Coffee Store have positions available for Supervisors and Baristas to join our team

Zarraffa's Coffee is an award-winning business that is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated, with a mission to create a perfect cup of coffee, every time. Pouring specialty coffee in over 80 stores across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia in a mix of drive thru's and stores, we offer convenience and accessibility to all coffee-lovers.

Working in a fast-paced environment, Supervisors are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our store.

Supervisor responsibilities include:

  • Train and motivate staff
  • Supervise employees to ensure store operations and procedures are followed
  • Maintain food safety, WH&S compliance, and cleanliness standards on opens or closes
  • Work within a team to deliver the perfect cup of coffee to our customers
  • Lead by example in all brand standards
  • Reconcile till and complete other administrative tasks as required

Attributes and experience required:

  • Able to lead a team to achieve results
  • Clear and effective communication
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Management experience in Hospitality or Retail

Baristas

As a Barista, you will be working in a fast-paced environment within a friendly team who deliver exceptional customer service.

Barista responsibilities include:

  • Impeccable customer service ensuring customers receive their order quickly and accurately
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the store and completing equipment maintenance tasks as required
  • Prepare and serve quality food and drink according to Zarraffa's brand standards
  • Follow all Food Safety and WH&S guidelines and procedures

Attributes and experience required:

  • Previous Barista experience (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for coffee and willingness to learn

The positions are part time/casual, with part time offering 20-38 hours per week. A seven-day flexibility is required including weekends, early openings and late closes.
