Your Role
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving smart, cost-effective solutions? We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Property Field Assessor to join our dynamic team at IAG.
In this role, you'll be a key player in setting clear expectations, timelines, and accountabilities; ensuring we consistently deliver on our promises. You'll take ownership of investigating, quantifying, and settling claims, negotiating fair outcomes between insurers, repairers, suppliers, and customers. Your expertise will help minimize claim costs through strategic management and negotiation.
You'll work closely with our claims case managers, supply chain, and partner network to resolve complex issues efficiently and enhance our assessment processes. Your contributions will directly impact customer advocacy and partner NPS scores through the execution of effective performance routines.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions, based at our IAG office in Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country (Canberra). You could reside anywhere between the Far South Coast and the ACT to be successful in this role.
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria:
• Trade Certificate or Qualification within the Building or Construction Industry
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Negotiation, verbal and written communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to travel
• Drivers License (company vehicle provided)
