We are seeking a highly skilled NABERS Accredited Assessor & Energy Auditor to join our team. This role involves conducting NABERS Energy and Water ratings, performing energy audits, and providing strategic recommendations to improve building performance and sustainability. The position is based in Canberra, with travel required to client sites for assessments and audits.

**Main Duties**
- Conduct NABERS Energy and Water ratings for office buildings, retail spaces, data centers, and other eligible property types, ensuring compliance with NABERS/BEEC methodologies.
- Perform energy audits (Levels 1, 2, and 3 as per AS/NZS 3598:2014) for commercial and government buildings, identifying efficiency opportunities and cost-effective energy conservation strategies.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance NABERS ratings, optimize building energy performance, and support Net Zero goals in line with government sustainability policies.
- Work closely with building owners, managers, and tenants to gather insights, explain fluctuations in NABERS ratings, and drive continuous improvement in sustainability outcomes.
- Stay informed on NABERS/BEEC policy updates, ensuring all assessments align with current standards and regulatory requirements.
- Educate clients on sustainability best practices, offering strategic guidance to improve building performance and long-term environmental impact.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
- NABERS Accredited Assessor and BEEC Assessor (CBD Program).
- Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or equivalent energy auditing qualification.
- Strong analytical and technical skills for interpreting building performance data and identifying efficiency improvements.
- In-depth understanding of building systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability principles.
- Proven ability to conduct NABERS ratings and energy audits with a track record of delivering actionable insights

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to liaise effectively with clients, property managers, and technical teams.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
