This particular branch holds responsibility for the evaluation of medical devices and then monitoring these devices throughout their lifecycle to ensure they continue to meet an appropriate level of quality, safety and performance.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Devices Assessor to join a collaborative and high performing team to undertake regulatory and technical assessment of medical devices and existing ARTG entries. Here, you will implement a risk management approach in making recommendations to support regulatory decisions with the goal of providing timely, quality and accurate advice on issues relating to medical device regulation through the interpretation of legislation and guidelines.

What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant higher education qualification in health or science related field of studies or biomedical engineering
- Must hold Australian Citizenship
- Sound judgment and excellent organisational skills
- Flexible attitude.
