Digital Experience Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a Digital Experience Specialist to help elevate digital customer and candidate journeys across a portfolio of Business NSW brands, including healthcare, rural and remote nursing, apprenticeships, and disability support services.
In this role, you'll report to the Digital Experience Manager and work closely with internal stakeholders. You'll take a human-centred approach to mapping, analysing, and improving digital touchpoints. Your focus will be on optimising existing web-based experiences and contributing to the roadmap for future enhancements that support engagement, accessibility, and conversion.
This fixed-term six-month opportunity is ideal for a digitally savvy professional looking to make a strong impact within a collaborative and purpose-led organisation.
Main responsibilities include:
- Put the customer at the centre of every decision, offering consultative support to marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Analyse user behaviour and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and conversion pathways.
- Create and document user journey maps to support CX initiatives
- Monitor and report on key digital performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Enhance digital journeys across websites and platforms using data-driven strategies.
- Test and implement innovative solutions to address strategic digital challenges.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across multiple business units.
To be Successful in this role, you will:
- Proven experience in digital experience, UX, customer journey mapping, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of human-centred design and digital marketing principles.
- Experience using digital analytics platforms and UX tools.
- Detailed knowledge of CMS platforms (Kentico preferred).
- Experience with CRM platforms for data management, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Ability to prepare business cases and document project scope/requirements.
- Experience managing digital projects end-to-end.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, creative thinking, and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in digital marketing, business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management certification is highly regarded.
