Who we are

For 27 years, Flood Emergency Services (FES) has been delivering fast, reliable, and affordable water damage restoration to Australian homes and businesses. We provide a 24x7x365 service and will be on-site in 60-90 minutes to help our clients mitigate the impact of water damage. Our technicians and project managers are IICRC qualified, and we provide compliance certificates on job completion to give our clients assurance that their premises are safe and that water damage has been addressed.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Paid Ads Specialist to take ownership of our digital advertising strategy. You will be responsible for managing high-value Google Ads campaigns that directly impact our call volume, customer acquisition costs, and overall ROI. This role requires someone who thrives in a high-pressure, results-driven environment where performance is closely measured.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple companies and markets
  • Control marketing spend and acquisition costs against agreed KPIs
  • Analyse performance data (calls, leads, conversions) and reconcile CAC against job value
  • Implement and maintain call tracking systems
  • Monitor competitor ad activity and market trends
  • Produce detailed reports on spend, conversions, and ROI by segment and channel

Mandatory Criteria

  • Google Ads certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Google Ads Advertising
  • Proven experience managing large-scale campaigns with annual budgets exceeding $1M AUD
  • Demonstrated success in running campaigns for urgent-response or time-sensitive services
  • Experience delivering campaigns for both B2B and B2C offerings
  • Willingness to work full-time from our Varsity Lakes (Gold Coast) office — this is not a remote or hybrid role

Desirable

  • Knowledge of flood remediation or related service industries
  • Experience with call tracking software such as CallRail
