The Role

We are seeking a Senior Migration Agent – Manager to join our Sydney practice. This role combines senior-level casework with leadership and management duties. You will not only manage complex migration matters but also:

  • Attend discovery meetings with prospective clients to assess case merits and help convert enquiries into active matters.
  • Lead and mentor migration agents and support staff.
  • Drive practice efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

This is an ideal position for a senior RMA ready to step up into a management role.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex migration matters, including partner visas, protection visas, citizenship, and visa cancellation/AAT cases.
  • Attend and contribute to client discovery meetings, ensuring high conversion and professional case assessment.
  • Draft submissions, oversee evidence preparation, and represent clients before DHA and AAT.
  • Manage, mentor, and supervise migration agents and support staff.
  • Oversee compliance with the Migration Act, Regulations, and Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure client files, communications, and systems meet the highest professional standards.
  • Contribute to firm-wide business goals, practice growth, and operational excellence.

Requirements
  • Current MARN registration in good standing.
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in migration practice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in partner, protection, citizenship, and cancellation/AAT matters.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior agents/staff.
  • Strong advocacy, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with confidence in discovery/client meetings.
  • Based in Sydney and available to work onsite.
