The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Migration Agent to join our Sydney office. You will act as a lead practitioner managing complex migration cases from start to finish, ensuring excellence in advice, advocacy, and compliance with the Migration Act, Regulations, and the Code of Conduct.

This role is onsite and requires a dedicated professional who is confident managing high-stakes matters and engaging directly with clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and manage clients in partner visa, protection visa, and citizenship applications.
  • Handle visa cancellations, including s 501 cases, and represent clients before the AAT.
  • Draft and prepare detailed legal submissions and evidence bundles.
  • Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and review bodies on client matters.
  • Maintain client files to the highest professional and compliance standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence.

Requirements
  • Current MARN registration in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in migration practice.
  • Demonstrated success in partner, protection, citizenship, and visa cancellation/AAT matters.
  • Strong advocacy and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and high professional integrity.
  • Based in Sydney and available to work onsite.
