We're looking for enthusiastic Fresh Produce Assistants who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

About the Role

As a Fresh Produce Assistant, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day running of our store. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Store preparation: merchandising displays, cutting, wrapping, and presenting produce beautifully.
  • Customer service: greeting customers with a smile, assisting with product selection, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Stock management: ensuring displays are full, fresh, and well-presented, with produce rotated regularly.
  • Pack down duties: refrigerating stock, preparing for the next day, and maintaining a clean, tidy workspace.

About You

  • A genuine passion for fresh produce and supporting local growers.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, people-first attitude.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive mindset.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster (including weekends and public holidays).
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a fruit & vegetable or similar retail role.
