We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Fruit & Veg Assistant to join our team in a busy fresh produce store. This role is hands on and involves arranging fresh produce displays, stocking shelves and unpacking stock/ deliveries, and ensuring the shop is clean, safe, and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpack, sort and stack fruit and vegetables
  • Rotate stock and remove spoiled or damaged produce
  • Refill and maintain attractive displays of fresh produce
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shop floor
  • Assist with general store duties as required

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry produce boxes (max 18kg)
  • Punctual, reliable and hardworking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience in retail or fresh produce is a plus, but not essential

Hours:

  • hours per week
  • Casual and part-time shifts available

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $800.00 – $1,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
